Today was a busy day, I started work early and

I accomplished a lot. At home I discovered that in the next few days we'll be enjoying our first yellow roses in our garden. Our lilacs have also started to bloom. 

The Real Blog About Our Bike Trip

This is the blog of our bike trip around France. We have been studying French and can probably get by in France with our current language skills. However the first part of our trip goes through Belgium, (only half french) The Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg. Luxembourgish is one of the official languages of Luxembourg. We can't speak Dutch, German or Luxembourgish. I am sure our communication skills will be tested, but that has happened before, Newfoundland and Australia come to mind for Yoly. Mexico and Guatemala were challenging for me once upon a time and Honduras and Cuba still trip me up. We have reservations from Paris up until Haarlem in The Netherlands but after that we plan to make reservations as we go. It may prove to be troublesome as it will be peak holiday season until the end of August...
